ApologetiX is That Christian Parody Band. They have been in the business for over eleven years, remaking popular mainstream songs from the 1950s to the present, presenting the Word of God to many.. They are great guys and have produced a lot of great music. To clear up any confusion, it's one band, with one singer, one guitar player, one bass player, and one drum player. They're a mix of Weird Al Yankovic and C.S. Lewis. But that only describes a portion of who they are. The band 'ApologetiX' is named from the term 'Apologetics' - a logical defense of the Christian faith: knowing what you believe, and sharing it with others. These songs can be used to teach Christians more about their faith and how to share it with others, and also reaching those who don't yet know Christ and what He is about. They try to share in a lot of different genres of music to reach as many people as they can- just as Luther did centuries ago - and as John did, to become all things to all people so that by all means they might be saved. Their way of doing this is by molding new and classic hits, along with their unique sense of humor in their shows, into a great message all can enjoy, and allowing everyone to learn a great deal from at the same time. They are truly awesome guys. I've been to fourteen of their concerts, and these guys are pretty cool. They all are really nice people and are really easy to talk to, and will respond their best about any questions about Christianity or the Bible you might have for them.
